• Informal Dinner: 7:00pm, at Coney Island

• Initiation: 10:00pm, at IUP College Lodge

Saturday, November 4, 2023

• Grab an Undergrad: 9:00am to 11:00am. Any alumni staying overnight should go to the fraternity house and take an undergrad out to breakfast. Get to know someone new. Go to the fraternity house and knock on doors.  

• IUP Football Watch Party: 12:00 noon. IUP is playing away but the game is televised at the Coney Island Bar.

• IUP Walking Tour: 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  The tour is presented by the IUP Alumni Office and is free. We will start at the Sigma Chi House at 2:00pm and end at the Hilton at 4:00pm Saturday. Divided into groups, each group will have it’s own guide. We need a firm count, sign up below.

  Need a little help getting around? We will have access to two six-seat golf carts (10 seats in total) for the tour. There will still be some walking but the golf carts should help. Additional sign up below.

• Happy Hour – Hilton Hotel Bar: 5:00pm to 6:00pm.  Get your “pre-game” going before the banquet

• Sigma Chi Eta Omicron at IUP 50th Banquet: 6:00pm to 10:00pm, at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex (KCAC) next to the Hilton.

• Banquet Dress is Formal: Men, button down shirt, tie, dress slacks, and suit jacket.  No jeans. Women, Cocktail Dress or Evening Gown suggested.

  At the banquet, we will host a fundraiser raffle. If any brother can donate a new item, please content Jeff Bird. Popular items are wine or liquor baskets, fishing baskets & sports tickets.

• Post Party: 10:00pm to 2:00am at Sigma Chi House and uptown bars. A shuttle bus will be in service between the Hilton, Sigma Chi House, and Coney Island.

• Entree Choice, please make your selection when ordering your ticket:

  • (C) Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

  • (B) Petite Filet with Roberts Sauce

  • (V) Stuffed Portabella Cap with Grilled Vegetables and Feta Cheese.

• Salad and Sides:

  • Mixed Green Salad with Radishes, Carrots, Tomatoes, croutons, and Champagne Vinaigrette with a Garlic Breadstick

  • Italian Roasted Redskin Potatoes

  • Roasted California Medley Vegetables.

• Dessert:

  Cheesecake with Cherry Reduction

• Tickets are $119 for each person and covers the banquet, post-party, and festivities. Maximum 172.

• Undergraduate tickets have the same entrees and are $85 each person. Maximum 20.

• NOTE: If ordering more than one ticket and would like separate entree choices, please add to cart separately to make your choice.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – MUST READ

The House Corp is planning for 200 attendees at the banquet. We will be sold out at 200 tickets. The House Corp is planning on a maximum of 20 undergrads, 8 VIP’s and 172 general admission tickets. The KCAC is now the ONLY GAME IN TOWN for a catered events. There is no other venue with capacity to host this event. The seats will be sold as “First Come-First Serve”. There was a potential to use an overflow room but the logistics are not good and the decision was made to cap the event at 200 people. The KCAC keeps tight control of room capacity to ensure there are no fire code violations.
