WE DID IT! 5 years ago, in early 2020 our mortgage was $243,326. The House Corporation took action to launch a series of mortgage payoff initiatives such as Smackdown, Beat the Clock, and three Winter Blitzes. Our sole objective was to pay the mortgage off before a sizable ballon payment was due in April of 2026.

Thanks to the generosity of 121 alumni, we raised over $150,000 and we smacked the mortgage down and beat the clock to make our last mortgage payment on March 10, 2025. A full year ahead of target! The house is now ours.
